Welcome to my professional portfolio and blog!
Hi! I am Erica Brooke Fajge, M.Ed., a creative, experienced and passionate writer, editor and communications professional focused on quality and attention to detail. I have experience writing and editing, both digital and print, for a variety of audiences and industries, including K-12 and higher education, e-Learning, health and wellness, telecommunications, and lifestyle and entertainment.
I am also an educator, having worked in writing assessment and curriculum development, as a high school English teacher, writing tutor, teen program advisor, and, currently, as an instructor of college reading and writing.
Recently, I have taken on the role of on-air correspondent and mini-series host for a new web magazine called Health and Wellness, and I am excited to share my interview segments.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with a focus in print, and a minor in business administration/marketing, from Arcadia University, as well as a Master of Education in Secondary English Education from Temple University.
This website serves as a professional portfolio to showcase my writing and interview segments, as well as a forum and blog to express my thoughts regarding the communications industry and topics related to reading, writing, and literacy.
Overall, my passion is for the written word — in both practice and teaching — and for creating and telling compelling stories, something I find fascinating as a conveyor of messages in various forms.
